December 17th was a beautiful day for the Kendrew family! Emma was dedicated at MLUPC during the 8:30 worship service. Pastor Bob Maravalli did the honors. My good friend CC sang a song called "Hold on to Jesus" by Erin O'Donnell. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Ben shared our intention for dedicating Emma and her life verses:
Psalm 121- I lift my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches Israel will neither slumber or sleep. The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. AMEN!!!

So FINALLY after a year of not really doing it, I started running again. Well at this point its more like jogging... but hopefully it will be running soon! It is AMAZING how much a little exercise can change you physically and mentally! (thanks endorphins!)I feel so much better already, i have more energy, i'm proud of myself for actually getting off of my butt, heck i even organized our linen closet! Not to mention i feel like i am doing something to be healthy so i am around longer for my kids and my kid's kids! I just have to keep up with it! (maybe i will even be more on top of blogging too!)
