Matthew Boston Madden

Our very good friends Bob and Michelle Madden had their first baby yesterday, Matthew Boston Madden. Matthew was born 10/30/06 at 3:56 am. He weighed in at 7lb 10 oz and was 21" long (sorry for the misinformation of 20" in my email) He is a BEAUTIFUL healthy baby boy. One of the good things about being a c-section baby is that he has a perfect little round head! Michelle is amazing and looks fabulous already. They are all doing great and will be home from the hospital on Thursday! Welcome to the world Matthew!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY LUKE!!!

It is so hard to believe that my baby boy is 3 already!!!! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. It seems like yesterday that we brought that little bundle of joy home from the hospital. It has been an amazing three years. Luke is such a good little boy with a tender heart. He is an amazing big brother too! I pray every joy and happiness for that little boy who has captured my heart!
Here are some shots of the celebration! We had it in the church gym so the kids had tons of room to run around and play! Thanks to all those who helped make that party special for our Lukie boy!

small groups

This year i have the priviledge of leading the 7th and 8th grade girls small groups! it is a fun time of just hanging out and talking and sometimes doing studies. these girls are awesome!!!! michelle and desiree lead the 9-12th graders on mondays at the galleria starbucks, and hope and cassie are going to be doing a 6th grade group. i encourage everyone to participate in a small group. its such a great way of getting to know each other better and most importantly help each other out in our relationships with Jesus.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABS!!!

I cant believe that my mom , aka Barbara Kaufman, aka Babs, turned 60 this past thursday! she looks AMAZING for 60 years!!! I could not have asked for a better mother. She is the most generous, self sacrificing person that I know. She would do anything for her family. She drives up once a week to watch my kids while i work, she gets diapers etc... for me all the time, she loves us so much. She has always made sure that birthdays and holidays were extra special! she protected us from as much as possible. I think that when you have your own kids, you REALLY realize how amazing your own parents are (or you realize how lousy they were) fortunatley in my case its the amazing verdict. Here are some pictures of the celebration. My brother sister and I got all of her old slides developed from when she lived in France and traveled all over Europe. She was SOOO surprised and excited! Here also is a picture of my mom and dad who celebrate their 32nd anniversary next week! They are an amazing example to me. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!!! OH and as you can tell luke is going to be peter pan for trick or treating this year! hahahaha
